War, Day 14

Bedtime:  11:30 pm

Alarm:  7:00 am

Snooze:  zero

Last night, our flight to Dallas was delayed by an hour.  Apparently, there were thunderstorms in Texas, and nothing was coming in to Dallas.  By the time we got in the air, the storms were past Dallas, but still between Indy and Dallas.  There were some pretty neat views from the plane, the city lights on the ground, lightening in and above the clouds, and stars above the lightening.

The hotel we are staying in is kind of a dive.  Rooms can be rented here by the day, week, or month, but not by the 15 minutes.  There are no drugs or prostitution allowed.  And there are strict rules about friends, locals, and “visitors” using the facilities.  I would not want to stay here by myself.  We are only staying here two nights.  And two relatively short nights at that.

This morning, I actually woke up before my alarm.  Any of you who know me well know how crazy that is.  It was really bright in the room, and I have only slept until 7:00 twice in the last two weeks…  This was sleeping in!  How nuts is that?!

The EntreLeadership program today was fabulous.  John and I had a great time, and learned a lot.  This was geared toward business owners, but there was lots of information that can be applied at other levels in the business, and in your personal life, as well.  Needless to say, I left the workshop feeling very motivated.

Tomorrow, ridiculously early alarm, check out, and drive to the airport.  7:30 am flight to Indy!
