Home again, temporarily

So I am finally home from Lafayette, for now. I did manage to get my experiments to work, and I got a very beautiful image from my Western blot. The bad news is that it says the opposite of what our pilot data says, so I have a bunch of meetings next week to figure out what my next steps are. I did get my scientific poster written and printed and hanging for one of the two poster sessions I have next week.

John and I spent the morning at rehearsal for “Barefoot in the Park,” which the Gibson County Theatre Company is performing next week. John is doing sound and I am working backstage.

We spent the afternoon emptying more stuff out of the basement. (I am glad we have a big garage!). The basement isn’t empty yet, so we’ll be doing more of that tomorrow…
