Yep, this page is out of date. Check back soon… I finished “Under the Dome” and another book or two.
Stephen King. Under the Dome
This is his latest. It is massive. It started out pretty gruesome, and has slowed down a bit in the first 200 pages. Really, how many people can he kill off before they start looking for answers?
Kathryn Stockett. The Help
This is the new book for our book club (The Crimson Quill) in Princeton. I have only read the first couple of chapters, so I don’t have a strong review of it yet. I will say I am having a little trouble getting into the story the way it is written. Hopefully it will flow better as I get into it.
Okay, I have finished The Help. It did flow better once I got used to reading the diction it was written in. It got to be a pretty good story, and I found myself on edge, wondering “Is she going to find out?”
Stephen King. Just After Sunset
Stephen King is a childhood favorite of mine. (No, really.) I finished this on 3/18. It’s a collection of 13 short stories. (I use the term “short” loosely. If you’ve ever read any SK, you know what I mean.) My favorite story of the collection was “Harvey’s Dream.” “N.” was a close second.
Dan Miller. 48 Days to the Work You Love
Dan Miller’s books and podcasts are new staples in my library and on my iPod.
